1. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS

Manual soldering machine for backlites automotive glass rear windscreen
 

In order to prevent the frost on the backlites, generally, there is much automotive glass with heating wires on the surface, to keep the glass has a certain temperature. To contact the glass heating wires and the car body control circuit, it needs to weld the tongue/connectors on the glass heating wires for the connection.

This manual soldering machine is an economic solution to solder the connectors on heatable backlites, and soldering of terminal tabs onto heated rear windshields.

The terminal soldering machine adopts the principle of low voltage, high current, which will solder the tongue connectors on the heating wires and its working process is as follows,

The operation steps are as below,

• Manual loading of glass on the workstation
• Manual positioning of the soldering head on the glass or docking clamp
• The manual feed of the connector
• Automatic soldering cycle (electrodes lowered => power on => soldering => cooling => removal of electrodes => Removal of the soldering head, auto back
• Manual unloading of glass
