Product Description
1. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS
This Automotive Glass Laminating Line is used for the laminated Automotive glass windshield processing, PVB Assembly with an inner and outer glass of the windscreen, Automotive glass laminated glass processing line, the curved laminated glasses after the bending process, and inner and outer glasses sheet need to be "sandwiched".
A typical automobile windshield is a compound pane, made of two thin glass sheets, the inner glass (the one on the inside of the car) and the outer glass, joined together by a special plastic interlayer made of Polyvinyl Butyral, or PVB.
The process description is below,
Put the first glass which needs to be laying the PVB film on into the PVB assembly,
Suck up the upper PVB film with a vacuum suction cup,
Put the PVB film on the first glass sheet,
Put down the second sheet, upper glass, and cut off the excess PVB film edge material. Because the two sides of float glass are different, one side is in contact with the tin in the tin bath and the other side is in contact with the ammonia gas during the production process, which we usually call the tin side and the airside. The adhesive force between the air side of the glass and PVB is stronger than that of the tin side and PVB. Therefore, in the production, the air side of the outer sheet faces inward, and the air side of the inner sheet faces outward. Only in this way can the two air surfaces be in contact with the PVB.
This operation needs to be carried out in a special environment, a cleanroom is required. and the autonomous air conditioning system can ensure the constant temperature and humidity conditions of the PVB sheet.
Laminated glass is a safety glass made by sandwiching PVB film between two or more pieces of glass and then firmly combining with high temperature and high pressure. Laminated glass is widely used in automobile and bulletproof fields. The laminated glass production line is usually composed of a glass washing and drying machine, a PVB Assembly line, a fully automatic walking suction cup or robot, a PVB film laying system, a transition conveyor, preheating and prepressing. The whole line adopts PLC centralized control, with high production efficiency and yield, easy operation, safety, and reliability. According to customer requirements, automatic online with different configurations can be realized.

4.1 Structure
This Auto Windshield Processing Laminated Glass Production Line For PVB Assembling is composed mainly of:
- Four transfer conveyors, including a PVB assembly station, Station for placing silicon ring, and Transition conveyors.
- Belt conveyor (4-6 conveyors) height from 1120 to 900m, it's customized according to the technical requirements and space limits.
- Two sets lifting up a system for PVB trimming section and Vacuum ring process section.
- Lifting up system with 360-degree rotation, easy for the automotive glass vacuum ring process.
- PVB film stack to store PVB film for laying on the first piece of the glass sheet, this is designed on a bridge rack.
- One automatic loading system for outer glass.
