1. PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION OF PROCESS
Cooling Tunel Automotive glass cooling machine after washing machine for PVB assembly
This cooling tunnel can be used both for laminated windshield and tempered sidelites, and window glass, after the curved glass washing and drying machine, and before the automotive glass pre-laminate vacuum system.
FOR EXAMPLE,
To satisfy the temperature requirements, cool down the glass from 37ºC to 25ºC.
(This is customized, according to process requirements.)
In the laminated front windshield glass processing line, the glass after the washing and drying, generally after the drying process, the temperature of the glass surface is higher than room temperature, and the next process is laminating with PVB interlayer, a layer sandwiched between two glass sheets, this process required a certain temperature and humidity, so it's necessary to cool down the glass, that's a cooling tunnel. This tunnel length is customized according to the space and temperature required.

4. DESCRIPTION
4.1 Structure
This Cooling Tunnel after automotive glass bend glass washing machines mainly includes four parts,
The frame is made of SUS304.
The cooling section is designed as a closed chamber to better control the temperature and avoid pollution.
The transmission adopts an adjustable belt, no marks will be on the glass.
The structure is an all-stainless steel structure, including bearings. For parts that cannot be made of stainless steel, other materials that can prevent demineralized water and corrosion, such as rubber or nylon will be used.
The air is filtered to avoid contamination of the glass before the lamination process.
Install an outlet (overpressure) device in the cooling chamber to prevent air from entering from outside.
The cooling system will be realized by a water chiller.
